Grasbrunn, Munich, June 18, 2009; at today's ordinary annual general
meeting for 2009 of Wirecard AG, a resolution was adopted in favor of a
first-time dividend payout. The shareholders will receive an amount of 0.08
euros per share for the fiscal year 2008. Starting on June 19th, 2009, a
total amount of 8,144,251.12 Euro will be distributed to the 101,803,139
shares qualifying for a dividend.
The members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board were exonorated
with a substantial majority. In addition, a resolution was adopted to
appoint both, RP RICHTER GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, München, and
Ernst & Young AG Wirt-schaftsprüfungsgesellschaft
Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, Munich, as joint auditors for the annual stand
alone and consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year 2009.
In his speech, Dr. Markus Braun, CEO of Wirecard AG, expressed the current
forecast, according to which the company plans to increase its EBIT by 10
to 25 percent this fiscal year, emphasizing that: 'We have an optimistic
outlook for the second half of 2009'.
On all other items on the agenda the Shareholders followed the proposals of
the administration of the Company.
